What ages is Roo for?+
Roo is built for kids aged 1 to 15, with activities tailored to each age range. That said, every family is different and Roo works for any age. The activity engine adapts complexity, time and materials based on your child's age and personality.
iOS or Android?+
Roo is available on iOS. Android is coming soon.
How does the personality quiz work?+
Parents answer a short series of questions about each child's preferences and behaviours. Roo uses your answers to assign one of several personality profiles, which then drives the activity recommendations.
Can I add more than one child?+
Yes. Add every child in the household. Roo handles their different personalities, ages and energy levels individually.
What is Travel Mode?+
Travel Mode gives you no-material activities for the car, train, plane or queue. Word games, story building, memory games and more, designed to keep kids busy without anything in your bag.

Is Roo free?+
Roo is free to download and comes with a free trial so you can try everything before you commit. After the trial, Roo runs on a subscription with weekly and yearly options. You can cancel anytime.
What's included in the subscription?+
A Roo subscription gives you unlimited activity generations, the full personality quiz, progress tracking, and the badges and streaks system. Full details and current pricing are in the app.
Can I cancel my subscription any time?+
Yes. You can cancel any time directly from your iPhone Settings under Subscriptions. No questions asked.

Privacy & Safety
Is my child's data safe?+
Yes. We collect the minimum needed to personalise activities. We never share or sell data, and parental controls let you delete everything any time.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. Roo uses your device as your account. We don't ask for emails, passwords, or any personal details. Your child's data stays on your device.
How do I delete my data?+
You can delete all your data at any time from within the app, in Profile, Account, Delete Account. Everything is removed within 24 hours.
Is Roo safe for my child to use alone?+
Roo is designed to be used together with parents. Activities are screen-free and the app is only used briefly to generate an activity. Once an activity is chosen, the phone goes away and the playtime happens off-screen.

Activities
How are activities matched to my child?+
Roo combines your child's personality profile, age, the energy level you're after, materials you've got at home, and how much time you have. The result is one activity tailored to right now.
Do I need lots of supplies?+
Not at all. Roo asks what you have and works with it. Most activities need basic household items, and Travel Mode activities need nothing at all.
How long are the activities?+
You choose. Activities range from 5 to 60 minutes. Tell Roo how long you've got and it matches accordingly.
