The Roo website uses only essential cookies needed to make the site work. We don't use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. There's no banner to dismiss because you haven't been asked to consent to anything beyond the basics.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember things between visits, such as which page you were on or whether you've already submitted a form. Some cookies are essential for a website to work. Others are used for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
2. What cookies the Roo website uses
The Roo marketing website uses only strictly necessary cookies. These include:
- Session cookies: set by our hosting provider and database (Lovable and Supabase) to keep the site working while you browse, and to handle contact form submissions.
- Security cookies: used to protect the site from abuse, including from bots and automated form submissions.
These cookies do not track you across other websites and do not collect any personal information about you beyond what you choose to enter into a form.
3. What we don't use
- No Google Analytics
- No Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No third-party analytics of any kind
If we add any of these in future, we'll add a cookie banner and update this notice. Your choice will be respected before any new cookies are placed.
4. Why we don't have a cookie banner
Under UK and EU law, websites need to ask for consent before placing non-essential cookies. Because the Roo website only uses strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required.
If that changes, we'll add one.

The Roo mobile app does not use cookies in the traditional web sense. The app does store some information on your device for the service to work. See the App Privacy Policy in your device settings for more.
